Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives
Six core programs designed to remove barriers and empower individuals toward stability and opportunity.
Kan Off The Street Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to addressing housing insecurity and its impact on educational access and community well-being. Our work centers on connecting people—not managing housing—to the resources, support systems, and advocacy pathways that promote stability, dignity, and long-term success.
While our primary focus is on community college students, our programs also support individuals from underserved and disproportionately impacted communities, including LGBTQ individuals, formerly incarcerated persons, international students, undocumented immigrants, and veterans.

Objective: To support veterans transitioning from military to civilian life by improving access to housing-related resources and veteran-specific support services.
Through partnerships with veteran organizations, this program helps veterans navigate housing assistance programs, healthcare resources, and employment services.
